Concerned about how we’ll keep ID numbers safe internally? Don’t worry. Because we understand better than most the number and different types of security risks that exist out there, we’ve taken extraordinary measures to ensure ID Alarm® is totally anonymous and 100% secure. We maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards to protect both your company and your customers. Here's how: 1) Secure Facility Our network resides in a controlled access facility with 24/7 around-the-clock technical support. Our network architecture is easily scalable, with state-of-the-art redundancy, data back up and a seamless off-the-grid emergency power supply. 2) ID Numbers Patent-pending next generation security technology ensures that ID numbers registered with us are never stored or transmitted (nor is any personally identifiable information). The instant an ID number is registered by an ID owner or entered by an ID Alarm® verifier, it is immediately transformed into a unique digital signature that cannot be converted back into its original form. The actual ID number is deleted immediately. We do not store it anywhere – giving you complete security. What exactly is a digital signature? For example, let’s say a customer’s Drivers Licence Number was 123456789. When automatically converted to a digital signature, it would look something like this: @#$%^&*912^%$&*&%1#@F%@#$%^& It is mathematically impossible to convert a digital signature back into an original ID number, so there’s no way thieves could steal your ID numbers from ID Alarm®. 3) Personal Information In addition to not storing actual ID numbers, we do not store the names, addresses or any other personal information about those who register with us, other than the email and phone contact numbers they have provided. 4) Restricted Access To access ID Alarm® accounts, members/subscribers are required to select a user name and password so that only they may gain entry to account information online. 5) Privacy Subscriber/member confidentiality is further guaranteed because ID Alarm® will never sell or share personal information. |
