Grant Edwards, President, Director Igor Divjak, Vice-President, Co-Founder, Director Terry Rumsey, Director Former President of the Carlson Marketing Group of Canada, a multi service 'below the line' Marketing agency. Terry was born and raised in Toronto where he received his BA, with a Major in Economics from the University of Toronto in 1968. He spent almost ten years after graduation in Senior Sales and Sales Management positions with McGraw Hill Information Systems. After moving to Calgary, he became President of three Donalco owned companies in 1981 (two in Fire protection and one that was engaged in Curtain Wall systems) throughout Western Canada. Terry joined Carlson Marketing in 1987 as their VP of Sales and rapidly progressed to become an Executive VP and subsequently their President. Under his leadership, Carlson grew from 75 employees and under 20 Million Cdn. of annual revenue to over 500 employees plus well over 100 million of Cdn. revenues. This period also included the building of a successful joint venture with Intersections Inc. to introduce a new Credit Alert service (ID Theft / Fraud Protection) throughout the Canadian Market. Keith Shier, BA, CA, Director A graduate of the University of Waterloo’s Co-operative Accounting Program, Keith qualified for membership as a Chartered Accountant in 1990. He then practised public accounting in the Greater Toronto area. In 1994 he left public practice to secure a position as Corporate Controller at a publicly-listed international distributor of communications equipment. During 1995, Keith embarked on the development of an extensive public accounting and consulting practice while continuing to be an integral part of the corporate head office team of the communications company. His firm’s services ranged from portable CFO and controllership services through to financial planning, acquisitions, divestitures and litigation support. During this time, Keith gained valuable experience in the export of products to the US. Robert A. Donaldson, Q.C., B. Comm., LL.B, In-House Counsel, Board Secretary David has been in the forefront of the computer industry for almost 30 years. Companies he has founded include Digital Solutions Inc., Ready Soft Inc. and Digital Leisure Inc. David’s success is based on his ability to provide quality content for new technology in the very early stages of it’s lifecycle. Terry Rumsey, Director David Currie, Advisory Board Mr. Currie's investment experience spans over 45 years in domestic and international markets. Twenty-five years with Wood Gundy was followed in 1989 with an initiative to establish the first WRAP program in Canada under Hyperion's financial label. From 1992 to 1999, Mr. Currie was Chief Executive Officer of Baring Asset Management (Canada) Ltd. He is currently Managing Partner of Claremont Capital Group, a private investment company. David also serves numerous Corporations and Charities in an advisory capacity. |
